FreeReid: Beijing-- Chinese Web Solutions

Chinese-English Websites

China Localization

Our localization work goes far beyond simple translation, extending deep into the source code. Living in Beijing, our native translation and localization team is hip to the subtle changes in Chinese, life, language and culture. We analyze millions of hours of Chinese user activity.

Chinese Search

Let us make sure that Chinese users find your content. The Chinese search landscape is quite different from the rest of the world’s. Baidu, a local search engine, has 51.5% of the market to Google’s 32.9%. Baidu’s fundamental technology differs significantly from Google’s and Free Reid is one of the first teams to optimize sites for Baidu and Google simultaneously.

Outsourcing

Chinese Cost-Savings

China has become “the world’s factory” because of the plethora of high-quality, low-cost products that it produces. A quick glance through a few Chinese websites is usually enough to prove, however, that, when contracting cheap, Chinese techies, you often get what you pay for. Free Reid is different.

World-Class Standards

Free Reid’s American founder, Andrew Reid, is fluent in Chinese and has handpicked a team from some of China’s finest universities to begin to change the course of Chinese web design. We are up-to-date on the latest, most promising web technology and rigidly adhere to international internet standards. Every site that we create is quality checked by our American team to give you the hassle-free experience you should expect from a web design firm, whether in China or anywhere in the world.

“The goal of our logos is to place a firm image in your customers’ minds—one that compliments the overall aims of your corporate identity strategy.”  --Sophia Wang (Lead Logo Designer)

Our logos adhere firmly to a philosophy of simplexity.  “Simplexity” refers to the use of simple, yet time intensive, difficult designs…

How can we make a logo stick in someone’s mind:

-Shape—Shapes are simplified by the human memory and often cannot be redrawn to perfection and yet studies have shown that our brain latches on to certain exact shapes and can easily spot fakes.  The Nike swoosh or Walt Disney’s handwriting (especially the dot on the “i”) are indelible images for most people throughout the world.  Such shapes, when the click in our brains bring on a rush of subtle emotions and memories that strongly influence buying behavior.  Both the positive and negative shapes in a logo image are important to us.

-Color—Choosing the colors that represent your business and form your logo is vital.  Colors bring about strong feelings in customers and can cause attraction or aversion.  Individual color choices are often less important than the color scheme as a whole.  What colors dominate and what do those colors tell your customers, partners and rivals?

-Associations—A logo must be carefully aimed and reviewed by many eyes in order to carefully determine the association that might arise from the included colors, shapes and words.

-Words—The letters or words within a logo are some of the few words that you can be pretty sure every person who encounters your company will read.  Whether they see your logo on a website or see it in a newspaper or on a T-shirt.  The unique context of logo text makes those letters and words stick.  We help you make your words count.

Our Chinese and American design team can bring your message to life for any market and you can rest assured that your valuable brand is in good hands.
