Getting onto the search results pages of Chinese search engines starts, oddly enough, with Chinese language. You must analyze Chinese keyword searches and be up-to-date with your Chinese popular culture. Because we are based in Beijing and are a joint Chinese-US effort, we are hip! OK, good point, we are web developers but, seriously, we live right in the heart of Chinese culture past and present. Once you have excellent page content that uses appropriate search phrases, we help you submit to the search engines and build the right link partners for your goals in the Chinese market. Remember that Baidu does not use Google's Page Rank. Here is a side-by-side comparison of the US search market and the Chinese market (note that these figures are a bit different from the ones above but Baidu's lead is undiminished).

![]() --Welcome to China, where Baidu is trouncing Google.
Both Baidu and Google count the number of links that point to your site but Baidu weights links differently and takes in a larger swath of Chinese language websites. Baidu also likes simple, relatively traditional site layouts. For further analysis of Baidu's search engine and their spider (baiduspider) you may want to look here: http://www.metamend.com/baidu-search-engine.html or here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baidu For Information on the entire Chinese search market please look at this page: |
